Air filters that eliminates 99.99% of 0.01 micron particles in the compressed air

MAEDA SHELL SERVICE CO., LTD.

We are focusing on purification of compressed air with world's only contamination control program and after-sales service system.

World first anti-bacterial air filter for compressed air purification

Maeda Shell Service began its focus on the purification of compressed air when it developed a special air filter in 1984. It has gone on to produce comprehensive systems that span the inlet to the outlet of a compressed air system, including hollow fiber, deodorizing and oil mist filters, exhaust filters, drainage devices for automobiles, and drain purifying devices. Included in these is the Three-in-One Multi Dry Filter, the first filter in the world to use three special filters in one filter body to trap 99.99% of 0.01 micron particles and offers the high performance to even remove bacteria, giving clean and safe compressed air free from harmful cells, mold, impurities, oil mist or water droplets.
The Three-in-One Dry Filter meets demands in the food production industry for clean and safe compressed air and has earned a solid reputation as an indispensable device in the structuring of a HACCP system. It can also be used at facilities manufacturing such products as drinks, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics.
Maeda Shell Service believes that the demand for the high-quality compressed air supplied through its high-performance filter will grow as the awareness towards safety in the food industry increases.

Moreover, steps for ensuring the comprehensive purification of compressed air and maintaining the level of purification are important elements in complying with HACCP and ISO standards. Maeda Shell Service offers complete support that ranges from seminars to an after-sales service, backed by a comprehensive "8- Step Service System" (holding U.S. intellectual property rights that have been applied for in Japan also) that ensure the continuous supply of high-quality compressed air.

Taking on the challenges of entering new fields of business

Maeda Shell Service is fully utilizing its technology and know-how to challenge other fields.

For example, it has used its carbon fiber manufacturing technology to develop ultralightweight walking sticks and ultra-lightweight stretchers and to participate in the field of assistive products, as Japan enters a time of a low birth rate and an aging society.

It has also renovated its existing urethane molding business and joined with the Bayer AG of Germany to introduce the extremely wear-resistant, long-service-life Vulkollan, a special urethane often referred to as the ultimate urethane. The company is also developing unique businesses in the recycling field by using its product "baytec" to recycle tires from industrial vehicles. Maeda Shell Service will respond to any challenge with its diversified technologies and solid know-how as it creates new areas of business. Its superior technological power, broad vision and flexible management system will ensure that this spirit of taking on new challenges will continue.
